Did you know Penzance used to have two Dry Docks?

Check out the late 1800’s map below overlaid on a recent aerial picture of Penzance harbour/dry dock. You can see where the small pier and stone that protected the docks from the elements before the construction of Penzance harbour.

In 2021, we have one 75m x 12m Dry Dock, and thanks to the harbour, we have a 106m Wet Berth and a 92m Drying Out Berth.
