We have recently acquired an interesting piece of documentation related to the Dry Dock's history. This document is the conditions of sale, and map for the sale of the freehold in 1904. The Dry Dock was purchased by Holmans, who operated the site for 92 years before closing in 1996, and whose name remains on the gates to this day.
We are passionate about preserving the history of the Dry Dock, whilst building towards the future. Penzance Dry Dock has a long history of supporting the maritime sector, and we will continue to extend these capabilities to the next generation of seafarers.
